Zion is the founder of CognitiveStreams, a behavioral consulting and coaching firm with the mission of Maximizing Human Potential. In fulfillment of this mission, he has worked with and impacted both organizations and individuals to bring creative and effective approaches to solving business and personal challenges.
He is a popular speaker for secular and religious events. His broad life experiences translate into the ability to communicate with groups from across the spectrum of age, socioeconomics, nationality, and race. Zion is the host of Conversations with Zion, a weekly program that airs on WIGOAM.com Mondays at 8 AM.
Reverend Zion Djàtar has served in ministry for over 35 years. He is a fourth-generation Pentecostal who has pastored churches in Georgia and Florida. In Atlanta, he was the founding pastor of the Urban Ministries Center of Mount Paran Church of God. He served as the local pastor for a United Methodist congregation in Florida. Reverend Djàtar has served as a chaplain and trained chaplains for the Department of Juvenile Justice. His theological underpinnings are evangelism and ecumenism, and his passion is for bringing people into a loving relationship with God.
Zion holds an Associate of Science degree in Human Services (Daytona State College), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychiatric Social Work (Bethune-Cookman University), and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling (Interdenominational Theological Center, Mason Seminary).
